telescope piggyback

Age 16 astro?
I have 16 years and have been doing astrophotography for a little over a year. I started astronomy like it when I moved to a new house that had one of 1960's Edmund Scientific 6 "super telescope conqueror of space. The first thing was pointed my telescope at Jupiter and was the best ever! I started to tow my Canon digital SLR with wide angle and telephoto lens to take pictures of deep space. Have also experimented with imaging narrow band hydrogen alpha. Now I recently purchased an Orion 80ed LXD75 mount and mead, and I'm looking for in autoguiders so you can start taking exposures longer than two minutes. Also I have a Canon EOS Rebel XSi, but not modify it. Is this a good astrophotography configuration? Any advice or suggestions?
Sounds like you're doing great things. I'd recommend joining a group of images Yahoo, where you can get advice from experienced many cameras.
