Looking for a place that sells telescope mirrors / mirror kits in the UK only please?
I'm in the process of investigating and fixing price of a house built Dobsonian telescope mounted and now understand that the cost difference between doing one and buy one is negligible. Although this is a project that would like to have a decent go a. Does anyone out there in the land of Yahoo knows where I can buy kits mirror or mirrors for this purpose in the United Kingdom, I have seen a few Ads in the U.S. for them, but I have not been able to find web sites based in the UK that sell them. Also, some advice from someone who has built a series greatly appreciated. I found some very comprehensive online guide to building one, but you can not beat a little human input! Any particular hazards to take into account? I have the intention to contact my local astronomical society at some point on this, but all you good people may notice about me also be greatly appreciated.

Astrofest does the packing work increasingly fine pushing the whole universe in a building in Kensington High Street. It is an outstanding exhibition and a real pleasure to go.
