Focusing on the stability of camera: the tripod? Ball?
Using a tripod helps to achieve sharp focus, clear in the photographs, but when that is not practical, a camera handy, ball support may be a better response. a purchase and make your own, filling it with any of the various types of filling.
The production of fine photographic images, whether for personal or professional use, implies a good composition, proper lighting exposure and sharp, perfect focus. Unfortunately, even if you have the larger elements of photos, perfectly integrated with the excellent lighting, if the image is blurred or out of focus, everything else does not matter.
Shaky, handheld shots can ruin your pictures. If you read articles about how to take good pictures, inevitably is the suggestion to use a tripod (or bipod or monopod) to maintain and stabilize the camera and avoid camera shake, the nemesis of photography.
But what to do in a situation where a tripod is impractical? If you are shooting outdoors on a windy day, even if sandbag or stake the tripod legs, yet the risk of stroke especially catastrophic damage to the camera and tripod. If the ground is uneven, the leveling of the tripod legs can be a nightmare. And again, the tripod can lose balance and fall.
Maybe you have the perfect picture in the viewfinder, but you're on the edge of a cliff or cramps side or behind a wall or other solid object which simply is not enough space to create a tripod. Or maybe you are shooting pets, small children, plants and insects and its best angle is low or ground level. (A side note: a device Remote control of the camera is very useful when photographing a pet. It allows you to stand aside and distract the pet, instead of having to look at the camera lens. You will fewer problems with red eyes!)
The solution to the precarious angle, level of overcrowding or under grounding problems? Pull ball camera support outside your camera bag and have a continuous shooting surface that fits in, on, under or around almost anywhere.
Perch on a rock a wall, fence, chair, stool or a table, resting on your car hood, roof or window, a branch of a tree on the ground outside or inside on the floor. It is virtually limitless where you can use this handy gadget.
Taking this concept one step further, what are your options when choose the type of support for use ball? If you spend some time researching on the Internet, try searching on Google topics such as beanbag camera support, systems cameras or bags help support the camera. You may be surprised at the number of different product options, as well as the shapes and sizes are available to meet your needs. For example, you can find round, square, rectangular chair, and types of harness.
If you decide to buy one, is likely to have an option to purchase full or not. Filling the bag yourself is easy to do and can save a lot of money on shipping. As some of products offered can be quite expensive, one might even consider making your own beanbag support.
What can be used to fill the bag ball support? Well. The obvious would be well-bean-and rice or peas. Note that if the wet ball out there, filling a selection organic materials can rot or get moldy, ruining thebag and / or line and the date! Other suggestions are: sand, stone (as used in bags of shot for hunters), plastic pellets (although they may be too light to give maximum stability), small glass beads, stones or gravel in your local Home Depot.
I've even been proposed for filling candy! Fill the bag with M & Ms and you have something to eat after shooting or something to avoid hunger pangs desert if you get lost.
What I use and recommend is aquarium gravel, which, although not edible, clean and small enough to make the bag so malleable the camera can adjust and absorb properly. It is also heavy enough to keep the ball in the wind and strong enough to be impervious to moisture. If the bag, the lining and contents are wet, they are easy to dry without consequences.
I personally use a bag of support that has the dual, folding, cushions aquarium gravel. It has a quarter inch threaded bolts that attaches to the bottom of the camera so there is no chance of the camera by sliding the bag support. There are handles to carry the bag with the attached camera to be ready to shoot. The bag support is also protection buffer around the camera when everything is stored within a larger, regular camera bag.

new refurbished vs Olympus?
I've decided its time to try another camera and i kill them and my cousins Olympus has survived its difficult 2-year-old, and I found it on sale at Wal-Mart or on ebay I can get a new one w / 3 month warranty Pluse memory card, case, tripod, extra battery, card reader, and lens cleaning kit for $ 20 cheaper still. ive had an i pod before it worked very well refurbished and is now living a happy life w / a friend after three years of my use of it.but not sure about the camera. The camera retails for about 279 on ebay i can get only Camera renovated 179 of its Wal-Mart sold only 219 to the camera, but i can get w / the extras renewed 194
Refurbished means it was sold and sent back to the factory for one reason or another. It may have been defective, or the person just changed his mind and nothing was wrong with her. The problem here is that we never know why. If there is only a difference of $ 20 in price, I'd buy new. Then you'll get a one year warranty and I know nobody else has the camera. It should be $ 100 cheaper for me to buy a refurbished phone.
