Leupold Rifle Scopes
The Leupold rifle scope is clearly a great invention, and like most inventions born of necessity. Most significant developments inventions someone find a need for something and how to make it work. The development of the scope of the rifle began when people began to connect telescopes rifles to maximize the capabilities visualization. This idea was, of course, very crude and did not provide the desired results. The first demonstrable use of a scope on a gun goes back to 1834, but attempts to create a viable telescopic sight were not successful until August 1880 when Fielder was able to build the first truly effective telescopic sight worked. This was the predecessor of all scopes today. In 1907 a German immigrant named Fred Leupold set up a small repair shop in Portland Oregon the survey team. Several years later when he met the inventor John Stevens, the incredible company name Leupold and Stevens was born and still exists today. It was around 1930 after a hunting trip not, who began making his first Leupold scopes. Small businesses survive the first World War and the Great Depression, but it was the Second World War the company changed forever. In collaboration with the U.S. Army and Navy, Leupold engineers learned the secrets of waterproofing and durable construction that would change the world of optics for good. The engineers learned that by introducing nitrogen gas in the field of optics to be clear, waterproof and fog proof ... for life.
Today Leupold and Stevens is an American family company with 100 years of experience. Its modern day state of the art facility employs over 600 employees in Beaverton Oregon. Leupold design engineers, machine, assemble and test all optical within this installation. Only the finest materials are used for production of particular optical lenses and are of the highest category of quality required by Leupold engineers. Scopes Recently many have started to reach the seat of Leupold for the service. Obviously, these products areas are not manufactured by Leupold and are not covered by the Leupold lifetime warranty. Leupold uses serial numbers on all optical so if you are scope of a suspect can simply contact at Leupold 1-800-LEUPOLD to verify authenticity. I think a field Leupold implementing the higher level for the money and I have many of them.

Jon C. Swanson is the owner of "The Firing Line Store" and has had over thirty years of shooting and firearms training and experience. He gained his experience while serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida. Not in the Yukon (they are in Lithuania). Newtonian physics is physics that came before relativity. Newton experimented with optics. He used for his experiments prisms (when not planting busy with his own hands eyeballs). Newton's descriptions (of the prisms, not the eyeballs), the light is treated as particles bouncing off the internal faces prisms. The scope of the observations used prisms (probably two) and its design is that the light bounces off the inner faces of the prisms. That is using the principles of Newtonian thinking.
