telescope camera mount

What is a better support for astronomical photography ... one type of holder or a German-type EQ.?
I've been at this for about a year and am looking to upgrade my telescope. Currently I have an Orion Sky View Pro go to assembly and two pipes. A 150 mm Mak Cas and a reflector of 203 mm. I recently purchased a XCM 2k SBIG ST camera and used a Nikon D40 for pictures. I have noticed that my limit before stripes is around 25 seconds, so often used T & A feature to get long shots. I'm looking for a Meade RCX LX200-ACF 12 "telescope with a fork assembly. AM I was in the right direction? My goal to have at least 10 minutes without leaving marks exhibitions. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
A fork mount directly used for astrophotography suffer from field rotation in long-exposure astronomical. If you choose to mount the holder can overcome this problem by using the alignment equatorial (ie a wedge) for az motor drives the telescope in RA and motor units in December alt Any new machine will take some work and I suggest you keep your lenses more short and use links with the new tube initially.
