How I can find all the Messier objects in my Orion SkyQuest XT10? Is it a good telescope? ?
Should I buy a new telescope? I would be able to see all kinds of things, nothing so far. I have to learn all 88 cons ... I really want to see all the Messier objects and know I'm a player, when I find one .. And why I can not see the big red spot on Jupiter? Sorry I have a telescope or something?
My XT10 is impressive. Me took about two years to detect all Messier objects. You only need to learn the 88 constellations if you live in Ecuador. No need to learn Centaurus because is never above my southern horizon. I did not even know existed if it was not something interesting there - the closest star to us other than the Sun Point Red is really white at this time. Sky & Telescope has a page on your site prediction for where to look. I only recently saw my first XT10 time. The night was particularly stable. To be honest, I do not often study Jupiter. But I was watching someone who does, and pointed out. It was not at all what I could have searched. She has not been set by its 14.5 "- it takes too long. But it is only 2-3 for the XT10. Another reason for the XT10 is a big margin. Jupiter rotates once about 10 hours. The red dot is centered maybe an hour or two at a time. I have also seen in my XT10 Pluto. You need a great form of success. And then, as it is only a point, you really need to draw what you see, and check back another night to see it move. Check out a local club. Observe others with some experience. Everyone has something to teach.
