Well, I have an interest in the universe and want to buy a telescope. Is it a AstroView Orion 120ST Refractor EQ Telescope a good thing to buy for a beginner like me? Is it okay to carry and use it to another country, when I buy this? Please help me .... I like things about astronomy but I'm not going to be an astronaut. I like watching the sky, makes me feel better every time I have problems. Staring at the sky and feel the cool breeze makes me feel relaxed. I also like to study the universe. Is it okay for a 14 years old to use a telescope?
I do not recommend the Orion 120 mm refractor to anyone. I tried two samples and both had serious optical problems. A 6 - or 8-inch Dobsonian reflector assembly would a better option for most people.
