The opening allows me to see distant objects clearly from space, which is under 2k?

$ 2000 Im looking for an 8-inch Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain CPC # Http: / / www.telescopes.com/telescopes/catadioptric-telescopes/celestron8inchcpcschmidtcassegrainwithstarbrightxltcoatings.cfm Telescope tabs I see lots of stars first. Then planets like Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, the works. I want the moon to look great (as much as 2k can get me at least) then I really I want to be able to see some nebulae and clusters species. That's all ... Lol I want to see everything. I also want something portable, I'm a little weak!

Your choice a telescope is good. It is highly valued, it is very portable and has all the opening you need. All that has to offer is a dark sky. A ten-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain not so portable. The weight of scope may make the creation of an enormous thing to do for yourself, and not fall in the price range 2000k <, no without the necessary support, vision and power supply. I use a 10-inch reflector on a Dobsonian mount observation, and an 8-inch reflector on an equatorial mount for imaging. The image of Saturn that I use is mine that I captured with my 8 "and a webcam. I recommend to stay in the 8" range. You'll find hour after hour of enjoyment from it.

What we noticed in most of the 2009 Nissan Murano is much nicer cabin. In the Inside, the highest quality materials and a luxurious ambience replace the mediocre quality and avant-garde look inside before. New features like a navigation system Hard disk drive and a dedicated iPod-based interface are also part of the new design. One thing that does not change, however, is the lack of third row seats. No doubt Nissan designers have felt pressure to add one, as it is offered in most competitive models of others. However, in a show (logical) Challenge, Nissan was third row would be rather small and occupy valuable cargo space, especially considering that the Murano is located on the side small mid-size crossover segment to start.

If you are interested in this type of vehicle, you will find that there are more options ever this year. Models are larger than thought, as the Mazda CX-9 and Toyota Highlander. But the most direct rival to Nissan Mazda CX-7, as their rates of fun driving even higher than Murano. However, the CX-7 gives a bit of practicality due to its relatively low maximum cargo space, and some may find its turbocharged four-cylinder-head a little break for comfort. Other similar options, such as the Ford Edge, the Outlander V6 Mitsubishi, the Pontiac Torrent GXP and the Toyota RAV4 V6. These models typically offer more cargo space or passenger capacity, but do not offer the same level of athleticism, elegance inside or style Nissan star performer does.

Not surprisingly, this was more or less what the first Murano was it, too. But with a nicer interior and an increase refinement and overall capacity, Nissan seems indeed to find a balance that will meet the crew of Cirque du Soleil.

The Z06 (coupe only) largely reflects the standard model in terms of availability of features, but gains a more powerful V8 engine, a fixed roof, a lighter frame and panels body, wheels and larger tires, stiffer suspension tuning, better brakes and special sport seats. Compared to the Z06, The ZR1 has a supercharged V8 engine more powerful, larger wheels and high performance carbon-ceramic brakes, a suspension with adaptive dampers more exclusive and lightweight body panels.

Mayor independent options, depending on model, include a navigation system, a transparent roof panel for the coupe, a two-tone interior, a dual-mode exhaust and different wheels. There are also options for suspension of the standard Corvettes: Magnetic Ride suspension Control (which automatically ups and softens the suspension based on how the car is driven) and the Z51 performance handling package (which adds a extra cooling, stiffer suspension calibrations, bigger brakes, specific tires and shorter for the six-speed manual counting). Also available as adjusting colors and combinations, plus delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

What model I can use digital cameras to take photos of the stars with my telescope?

I have a 114 mm telescope and want to take photos of the stars, what digital camera models that are available I can use to have good results?

All pictures of space require scheduled release, a time of exposure. So in answer to your question - any camera that allows you to have an exhibition scheduled. His telescope has to have an equatorial mount and clock drive to produce images like a really good camera will give paths. Given this, a list of objectives, a map of the stars, and ready. The camera does not have to be expensive, just have a trigger clock.

Sct Focal Reducer

Sct Focal Reducer

When you are first buying camera equipment you see a lot of lenses that have IS or VR designations on them. This is the stabilization of Vibration Reduction image or. They mean the same thing except Canon uses the first term and Nikon uses the second. These are mechanisms built in the camera lens to avoid "camera shake." I will discuss how to get rid of camera shake and why I bought an objective VR for myself.

What is the movement of the camera?

When you're holding the camera in his hands and looking through the viewfinder to take your photo, your body is making slight movements. This is a natural thing that your body is always the same for correction, for your muscles to move to help keep your balance. However, because slight movements of the camera. When the camera zooms in on a subject that is within a reasonable distance, these slight movements become more noticeable.

For example. If your hand shakes slightly and turn your camera from an online degree of your address and the subject is 15 feet away, this would correspond to 3.1 inches are added in the direction of camera moves. Now they say that the movement of his hand happened when he took the picture and while the shutter is open. This would blur the image on film or digital image.

How do I prevent my images go blurry?

There are three ways to prevent this.

  1. Make sure you have a fast enough shutter speed to make your movements of the hand does not affect the image.
  2. Use a tripod.
  3. It has a vibration reduction lens or image stabilization.

Each of these methods have their pros and cons. 1. It has a fast enough shutter speeds

Ideally, you want this thing every time. The golden rule is that you need a shutter speed of 1 over the focal length is set its target. So if you is extended to the bottom with 300mm lens, you would like 1 / 300 second aspect of speed or higher (for 1 / 320 in the standard camera). This usually calls (for the average user) the shutter will not be long open enough to make your hand movements notable in the final image if you have steady hands to be able to get a slower speed. The catch here is the willingness to have enough light to expose your image. If half of a bright day you are fine. If it is darker than could have to use a more sensitive film, but this will make your picture to be grainy.

Note: When you see the lens face with the same zoom capability as a target cheaper, look at the maximum aperture for this purpose. Most likely it will be much larger than the cheapest. F/2.8 is common. The lower the number, the greater the aperture can go. This means more than the lamp will rent when taking the photo, so it will be capable of higher speeds shutter.

2. Use a Tri-pod

This is always going to work. Now you can have the shutter open as long as your image you want and not have any confusion (this is assuming that the subject is not moving or moving slowly). Tripods are fussy though. And definitely not work in many circumstances, especially traveling.

3. Use a lens with image stabilization or vibration reduction

This is "meet in the center" as they still need a decent shutter speed, but do not need a tripod and cheaper than a fast lens. Inside the chamber there is a mechanism to adjust the glass lenses slightly to compensate for the movements of his hand. VR IS, and give a closing Speed few stops back. So if you can not get enough light to be 1 / 320 sec shutter speed as in the example above. VR allows you to download to 1 / 125 sec (four full stops in ideal situations). Often, this will give enough light to properly expose the image. VR and IS lens will cost extra but they are still cheaper than buying the lens speed with which he spoke of above. Fast lenses usually do not have much ability to zoom (the limitation of having a large aperture).

The main article is an example of two images. One of them was taken without VR on and the other had VR. This is a picture taken home with my Nikon D70s with Nikon 18-200mm VR.

To summarize. The cheapest solution is to buy a tripod, the second is to buy a lens with IS or VR, and The most expensive is to buy "fast" lenses. I am a casual photographer and use more to travel so that the RV has been the best option for me. If you are with similar needs and want to eliminate the movement of the camera over your photos, then I would recommend looking at VR and IS lenses.

Tips on buying a digital camera

If you want to be sure of your decision to buy a secure digital camera, then you need to take in some time you read this article that will provide all the information you need to access this gadget before buying.

The challenging thing about buying a camera digital is that as soon as you buy the latest brand new, a better one is introduced into the market. It was not always so, I mean once the process of evolution was painfully slow due to the film processing system used.

A normal consumer who prefers to own a product for a while before the exchange of a newer version can not match the speed with which improvements are made in digital cameras. Today we have the optical zoom is improve with each new version, the chamber size is becoming smaller and the storage capacity is increasing dramatically.

So to buy a digital camera can be a daunting task. Most South African buyers only can make a better choice because to variations and continuous improvements of digital cameras. So let's take a look at some things you can do before you set foot in a store you click the button to verify an online store.

There are a number of electronic Web sites that provide information on equipment purchased by consumers. In these sites, find messages from people who bought the same products you are interested and be able to determine how it has worked with other people and if it meets your expectations. There are other review sites that are based on the reviews written by experts, and not necessarily ordinary consumers. In these review sites technique, you will often find reports that can be downloaded free of charge.

Learn why you need the camera

Every camera company seeks to improve its line of digital cameras, providing new features, better functionality in terms of some specific and, of course, they are selling these devices at reduced prices. Access your photography needs to not feel overwhelmed by the many features offered. May not need some additional functions that will make you pay a higher amount than necessary. I hope I made clear why it is important to know why you need to determine your needs before buying the next big thing.

DSLRs vs point and shoot

Digital SLR cameras are highly quality, normally expensive cameras used by professionals and amateurs. You should consider buying a picture that their needs are at an advanced level ie you want to take action photos, macro images etc.. With these SLRs you have to focus the shots yourself because nothing is automatic and can be connected to a microscope and a telescope so.

If you are not at all a professional point and shoot digital camera is for you. The point and shoot is very easy to use and most their functions are done automatically eg auto focus. You may not have to worry about color settings or lighting. Cameras point and shoot also easily connect to the PC, even without software in most cases.

There are more that I can share with you but let me conclude with the following summary. Consider the camera resolution, which is denoted in pixels if it is large, it is good but can be useless for other largest users, the more optical zoom you can zoom the better, check out the storage capacity ask about how much images can be stored.

Although it may seem easy, is a major financial decision to buy a digital camera, so take your time and check all the recommended sources and characteristics.

Camera is used with telescopes?

I'm looking at the telescopes and have seen some pictures of things they see, however, its kind of wearing off some telescopes. Are the photos taken with the camera less detailed then that one eye looks through a telescope?

unless be a telescope that costs thousands and expensive a camera that he was disappointed with the results, the images of the nebulae are made with equipment that costs millions, 8inch reflector is the absolute minimum you can get good in astronomy, but not much good for photography

A New Test to Detect Osteoarthritis Early... Will it Help?

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis. It affects more than 20 million Americans according to some estimates. Because osteoarthritis (OA) is primarily a degenerative process, the incidence and prevalence of this disorder is expected to rise with the surge in Baby Boomers.

OA affects weight-bearing joints such as the knee and hip. It is a disease of articular cartilage, the tough, elastic material that cushions moving parts of joints. OA is the most common reason for eventual total hip and total knee replacement surgery.

It has been felt that early diagnosis of this condition could potentially lead to earlier treatment.

To date, treatment for osteoarthritis has centered on pain relief only. To that end oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) such as ibuprofen (Motrin), aproxyn (Naprosyn), sulindac (Clinoril), piroxicam (Feldene), nabumetone (Relafen), etodolac (Lodine), ketoprofen (Orudis), meloxicam (Mobic), and celecoxib (Celebrex) have been used with varying degrees of success.

Along with these medicines, analgesic medicines such as acetaminophen (Tylenol), propoxyphene (Darvon), and tramadol (Ultram) have also been used to manage symptoms.

Other modalities such as physical therapy, braces, lateral wedge insoles inside shoe, arthroscopy (entering the joint with a small telescope to remove damaged and diseased tissue), injections of glucocorticoid ("cortisone"), and injections of lubricants, called viscosupplements, have also been used to alleviate symptoms.

Despite the mixed effectiveness these various treatments have had as far as pain control, they have not been completely successful.

The reason? The Holy Grail of OA treatment has been to identify treatments that can slow down and possibly reverse cartilage deterioration.

This is predicated on diagnosing the condition early. To date, diagnostic methods such as x-ray and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) do not detect the disease until OA is in advanced stages when joint damage may already have occurred.

Arthroscopy can detect early disease but is not practical because of the invasive nature of the procedure.

A method for earlier diagnosis could open a window of opportunity for preventing or reducing permanent damage. Recent evidence suggests that dietary supplements like glucosamine/chondroitin might prevent further joint deterioration. A recent study demonstrating a new medical imaging technology may provide physicians with an accurate test for early diagnosis of OA, scientists from New York reported at the 236th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society

"Our methods have the potential of providing early warning signs for cartilage disorders like osteoarthritis, thus potentially avoiding surgery and physical therapy later on," says Alexej Jerschow, Ph.D., who reported on the research jointly with Ravinder R. Regatte, Ph.D.

He adds, "Also, the effectiveness of early preventative drug therapies can be better assessed with these methods."

Cartilage consists of collagen and proteoglycans. Proteoglycans are long chains of linked sugars and proteins.

The new method uses a modified form of magnetic resonance imaging to determine the concentration of a polymer known as glycosaminogycan (GAG), a proteoglycan that holds lots of water and gives cartilage its tough, elastic properties. GAG also is a recognized biomarker for osteoarthritis.

According to the scientists, a low concentration of GAG is known to correlate with the onset of osteoarthritis and other cartilage disorders.

The diagnostic test utilizes a method that "tags" the hydrogen atoms attached to the GAGs in a way that makes them emit a signal that can be picked up by an MRI machine to determine the concentration of GAG and assess cartilage status.

The advantage of such a test is not only to detect early OA but also to assess the effectiveness of newer disease-modifying osteoarthritis drugs (DMOADS), which are currently being studied by a number of companies.

Celestron CPC 800 tracking Capability?

I am thinking of purchasing a Celestron CPC 800 and I wanted to know if this scope has tracking capability. I read in the description that in can track, since its a goto, but it also said that I would need a wedge to track in EQ. The link is provided below could any of you tell me whether or not I will need to buy a wedge. Im thinking of doing astrophotography with my canon 350D and I need decent tracking to get good deep space shots. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

http://www.telescopes.com/telescopes/go-to-telescopes/celestron8inchcpcschmidtcassegrainwithstarbrightxltcoatings.cfm

You did your homework and you did choose a fine scope. I am an Orion fan but your choice here is very good and you should be very happy. For astrophotography, you will need a wedge. And great patience. Astrophotography is one of the most frustrating things about astronomy. And it can also be very rewarding. The biggest tip I can give you is that you will need the most perfect alignment with Polaris as you can get. If your alignment is dead on, then your tracking will be good enough for pictures. Any drift, even the most minute variation, will cause blurry, fuzzy, or trails in your photos. Patience is the key. My best wishes to you!

goto telescope mount?

I am thinking of buying a telescope for about $ 400 and has 350x magnification. I wondered if I could get a telescope goto mount it.

Never buy a telescope based on the extension, because any telescope can give increases to the right eyepiece. The factor important is the telescope aperture: the diameter of your lens or primary mirror. It is usually less expensive than buying a telescope and mount combined as a package. Not all telescopes goto are available mounts.

Digital Camera - the Easy Way to Take Pictures

In comparison to film cameras, digital cameras have number of advantages which includes displaying the image on the camera screen right after recording, a single small memory device can record thousands of images, records video with sound, provision to edit images, and above all storage capacity can be re-used by deleting the images. There are numbers of devices available that has in-built digital cameras like mobile phones, PDA`s etc. Specialized digital cameras are fit into astronomical devices like The Hubble Space Telescope.

Digitizing images on scanner and digitizing video signals are much older than making of still images using digital signals from an array of discrete sensor elements. It was then used for astronauts to provide onboard navigation information during their visit to planets. It provided the still photos of stars and planet locations during transit and also additional stadiametric information for orbiting or landing guidance while approaching planet.

Steven Sasson, an engineer at Eastman Kodak, attempted to develop first digital camera with solid state CCD image sensor chips. But it was just a technical exercise. The true digital camera was Fuji DS-1P developed in 1988. And the first commercialized camera was Dycam Model 1 in 1990. Then in 1991, Kodak launched its Kodak DCS 100. Else Casio QV-10 was the first consumer camera in 1995. Nikon D1, a 2.74 megapixel camera was the first digital SLR developed in 1999. And in 2003, Canon 300D, first 600 megapixel camera was launched.

There are various types of digital cameras available. For videos, there are professional video cameras which are used in television and movie production. Camcorders come with inbuilt microphone and a small liquid crystal display to watch video while recording and playback. One can get still photographs also with them. Webcams, attached to computers, can capture full-motion video and are also available with microphones or zooming ability.

In live-preview digital camera, there is an electronic camera that can be used to frame and preview before taking the photograph and also to review stored photographs. Many of such cameras can take motion pictures. Then the recorded images can be transferred to computer, printer or any other such device. USB mass storage device enables the camera to function as disk drive for computer and Picture Transfer Protocol is then used.

To use Firewire, storage device is removed from camera and inserted into other device. Compact digital cameras, small and portable with inbuilt flash, are easy to use, and images are stored using Lossy compression. They might be able to capture motion picture but that to a limit. Bridge or SLR like camera is higher-end-live-preview camera with more advanced features like superzoom lenses, takes movies with sound, etc. Digital rangefinder, a user operated mechanism, is capable to measure subject distance.

Apart from above mentioned digital cameras, there are other categories also. Professional modular digital camera systems are used in studios for commercial production. Line-scan camera systems, based on focusing mechanism, are used in industrial settings to capture images of constantly moving materials. They capture images at extremely fast with high image resolutions.

Most of the digital cameras come with pre-set modes for different applications. Data can be transferred through USB port, Firewire port, USB PTP mode and even through wireless connections like WiFi, Bluetooth etc. These data are mostly stored in Microdrives, Joint Photography Experts Group (JPEG), Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) and RAW. Formats for movies are AVI, DV, MPEG and MOV. Recently MP4 format is also developed. Digital cameras have small but powerful batteries to operate for enough length of time.

Astrophotography and Canon 20DA?

Any of you happen to have a Canon 20DA that you want to sell because you've upgraded. looking for body only as it will be used on a telescope. Put this in the camera section but the 20DA was not really picked up by people who weren't interested in astronomy as you needed an IR filter for normal picture shooting.

These are wonderful cameras, but very scarce because Canon made very few of them. Astrophotographer friends have told me that the Digital Rebel is almost as good, if not better.
