planetary filters for my telescope?

I ordered a set of planetary Arcturus filters, 7 colors. I have been printing what color do you good object. what I want to know is .. What about stars? although planetary filters are either of them can work on improving the stars, etc?

No consumer grade telescope magnify a star is always enough to see details. As you add the extension, the star is still only seems to be a point of light (although it is possible to detect other regulatory stars in their neighborhood). The filter only changes the apparent color of the star.
